A Few Things…

We all know that Apple will be releasing something new next week. What could it possibly be? Heck, I don’t really know. It could be anything. I mean, it is Apple after all. Well while we are waiting for that big breaking news, lets take a look at something that happened today that might have went under the radar. Although, if you are like me, then you may already know and own one of these gizmos.

Today, Amazon unveiled a new installment for the Kindle, the Kindle Paperwhite. It has a smoother interface than the Kindle Touch with sharper text. Of course, that isn’t much of an improvement from the other Kindles is it? Well, Kindle Paperwhite now has the wonder glow of a light behind that beautiful ink screen. We can finally read (with our Kindles) in the dark. Now, I know that most of my posts involve social media. Well here it goes.

the Kindle Paperwhite has Amazon’s web browser built in to its new system. What could this possibly mean? Maybe some instant streaming for you Amazon Prime members? Well, who knows. It’s still in beta so we will have to wait and see. Although, the reviews for the new browser are not looking so great (PC Magazine Article). This awesome gadget is available on October 1st with prices starting at $119. Keep a look out for all the new gadgets that are coming out in the next couple of weeks!

  1. Oooh this is exciting! I have a Kindle too, not the Fire but the touch. I love how much it is like a book except the fact that, like a book, you can’t read it in the dark without turning a light on. Keep me posted on this new version!
