Hello all. During my social media class, we had a lovely presentation by @MiriamWeidner from Radian6 also known as @marketingcloud. Radian6 is a large scale social media service where companies hire them to take advantage of all of its tools and services to optimize their social integration on social media sites.

In my opinion, one of the best things about Radian6 is it gives you the opportunity to see what keywords are the most beneficial. Take this for cloud for example:
Clearly, this is most likely an example for the new iPhone or Apple in general. The larger the keywords are in the cloud the more useful it is to the company. What is great about this is that the cloud is interactive. The company can click on any of those keywords and see why it came up in that fashion. It can also be customized if a keyword does not fit what the company feels is appropriate, then it can be removed or altered. They also have other tools that show where the data is coming from. As I have been told, this can be a live feed of tweets or Facebook posts or who and what are talking about your brand. They can also be categorized as good or bad interpretations of the brand. It is possible to use Radian6 to see if there is about to be a crisis for that brand.
All in all, it is a nifty tool that can help your company see what it is doing right and what it can improve on. I will say that the pricing to use these tools is a little high, but I definitely believe that you get what you pay for. If money is an issue, then it would probably be best to stick with Hootsuite or maybe not…
